My interest in watercolours began in the 1940s

on seeing the work of Edwin Young, and rekindled

some fifty years later by the help and guidance

of the late, and gifted James Fletcher-Watson.

I have tried to paint most subjects, and apart

from portraits, the results always give me a sense

of achievement,

Much of my time is given to commissions, a great

number of them churches!, for wedding and

anniversary presents.

I have painted landscapes etc in most parts

of Britain, and the animals are from photos and

film taken during my visits to Africa.

I hope to continue painting for many years,

and who knows maybe paint one for you.
